Hello, my beloved students! In this section, we will learn English trough writing activity. It will lead you to improve your writing skill. 

Okey, before we start the lesson I will give you a picture related to spoof text and remind you about it. Now, take a look at this picture



what is the picture about? What is he doing? is the story funny? What do you call this story?


Students now i think you remember what the spoof text is? And what the spoof text tell us about? What is the social function of spoof text? And can you mention what does the writer describe in twist?

Let’s get started to learn about spoof text. So you can easily understand the material.

                                             


Well after I show you the ppt (the explanation about spoof text and the example of spoof text in several kinds), we move to the video, this video tell about nasreddin funniest story. Now enjoy it! 





Are you ready for the worksheet? First is pair activity. I want you to find your pair then answer these question related this video. This step will bridge you to the material and the topic that we are going to discuss. It makes sure that you catch the story tell about.

  • Have you ever read or watch story like this before?
  • Is it short functional text? Why do you say that is spoof text?       
  • How many generic structure that spoof has?                                                                              
  • Do you like the story? Why?

Individual’s activity :
Follow the instructions to prepare to write a spoof text. Think of a funny incident that happened to you. Here are some questions to help you add necessary and interesting information to your story.
  • Who was involved in your story?
  • Where did it happen?
  • When did it happen?
  • What are the important events in the story?
Now you are ready to use your notes to write your first draft. Follow the rhetorical steps of spoof text: orientation, events and twist.

Listening also the key to all effective communication, without the ability to listen effectively messages are easily misunderstood-communication breaks down and the sender of the messages can easily become frustrated or irritated.
